Join Craig Calhoun, the Laurance S. Rockefeller Visiting Professor for Distinguished Teaching at Princeton University (UCHV)and the University Professor of Social Sciences at ASU, as he discussed “Urban Power: Democracy and Inequality in Sao Paulo and Johannesburg” (Princeton University Press) with author Benjamin Bradlow. Bradlow’s book examines and explains the effectiveness of urban governance in two “megacities” in young democracies: Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Johannesburg, South Africa.
